Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Director to lead growth initiatives in the Healthcare and Education industries. This leadership role will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of Account Managers, driving sales performance, and developing innovative strategies to secure new business and foster long-term partnerships. The Sales Director will play a critical role in shaping the company's sales approach and will be accountable for the achievement of revenue targets within these key sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth within the Healthcare and Education (Higher Ed K-12) industries.
- Identify new market opportunities, analyze customer needs, and tailor approaches to maximize market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in both industries.
- Account Management & Development
- Lead, manage, and inspire a team of Account Managers, ensuring they are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and motivation to succeed.
- Oversee the development of key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and ongoing revenue growth.
- Create and implement tailored solutions for clients, leveraging market insights and company offerings.
- Sales Leadership
- Set clear sales targets and performance goals for the team, monitoring progress and driving results through Storr's WorkCompass Performance Platform.
- Lead by example in prospecting, closing deals, and fostering relationships with major stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Design and Operations to ensure successful customer engagement and experience.
- Market Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to adjust strategies as needed.
- Regularly report on sales performance, forecasts, and account health to senior leadership.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize the sales process and ensure sustainable growth.
- Creative Account Development
- Take a creative, consultative approach to selling by developing personalized solutions and strategies for each client.
- Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling of additional products/services.
- Innovate new sales techniques and tools to enhance the customer experience and increase sales efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Proven track record in sales leadership, with at least 7-10 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within the Healthcare and Education sectors.
- Extensive experience managing a team of account managers, driving results, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of Healthcare and Education industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute complex sales strategies that drive business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
