Strategic Insight, Ltd. is seeking an Administrative and Financial Management Analyst (Staff Associate) to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Headquarters (HQ). Job location is the Washington, DC,  Navy Yard.

Mandatory Requirement:  Applicants selected for this position may be subject to a Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility for access to classified information at the Secret clearance level.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Executing resource/budget management of mobility assets such as creating usage reports, PEO/SEA code budget tracking, and vendor contract management,
  • Preparing email inquiries and responding to government points of contact, 
  • Assisting with collecting, tracking, verifying, and reporting on wireless usage and other telecommunications data,
  • Developing detailed Word and Excel reports in various requested formats, and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Success for working in this position requires:

  • Must possess the ability to quickly learn various support databases and tracking tools,
  • Must be able to develop detailed Word and Excel reports in various requested formats,
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced support organization,
  • Must have experience and be able to execute resource/ budget management of mobility such as creating usage reports, PEO/SEA code budget tracking, and vendor contract management,
  • Intermediate skills in developing spreadsheets, database management, and word processing,
  • Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills,
  • Excellent organizational skills: ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks with flexible deadlines,
  • Ability to initiate activities, and identify and fill organizational requests related to area of responsibility, 
  • Ability to work effectively with a range of government administrative and technical staff,
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completing assignments,
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with others at all levels, as a team member,
  • Ability to safeguard classified and controlled unclassified information,
  • A self-starting, goal-oriented individual who provides timely feedback on progress made on assignments, and
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

 Education and Experience

  • HS diploma required.
  • BA/BS is desirable.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience working with resource/financial management, preferably of mobility assets, such as the development of usage reports, PEO/SEA code budget tracking, and vendor contract management.
