Strategic Ventures is currently recruiting a Force Design and Wargame Modeling & Simulation Engineer to join our team at Ft. Meade, MD.
Responsibilities :
Apply innovative Modeling and Simulation (M&S) methodologies to make a real-world impact on how cyber forces man, train, and equip for the future.
Have demonstrated skills in data science, AI, machine learning, operationalization, and predictive modeling.
Requirements :
Required Qualifications :
5 years of experience in the direct application of M&S work
Bachelor's degree
Experience in statistical and general-purpose programming languages for M&S and data analysis, such as Python and R
Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis in support of developing predictive data models
Knowledge of simulation software, such as MATLAB, or specialized cybersecurity simulation tools necessary for developing realistic threat scenarios
Active TS / SCI clearance with CI polygraph required
IA-T2 Certification, such as CCNA-Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, CND, or SSCP
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with M&S in support of military applications, including the use of tools, such as AFSIM
Knowledge of defense or intelligence data sources and analytic tools
Knowledge of cyber operations, cyber force structure, cyber threats, or cyber wargaming
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including threat vectors, vulnerabilities, and defense mechanisms, for analyzing cyber threats
Knowledge of AI / ML tools and techniques
Ability to work both work collaboratively and independently
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering
