Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operations and maintenance of critical IT application systems between internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with Automation Anywhere or similar software.
- Comply with policies and procedures for the administration of the databases, maintenance and upgrades of application software, and oversight of backups and standby databases.
- Establish and maintain databases for user tests and production purposes.
- Work closely with business clients in understanding business needs and ensuring proper performance of transactions within the application infrastructure in support of complex business requirements and processes.
- Work closely with Product Managers and vendors on new systems, enhancements, and upgrades to the application environment.
- Monitor and deploy security patches as required to maintain a secure system; provide support for application & database security and SOX audits to ensure database integrity and user access.
- Create and maintain documentation including data dictionaries, workflows, runbooks, policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the application developers, middleware, infrastructure, security, testing, networking, help desk, on a daily basis to manage and resolve IT operational issues.
- Perform root cause analysis on production issues as necessary.
- Proactively seek out ways to improve performance and streamline application environments.
- Ensure high levels of availability and reliability of the systems.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery planning, testing and execution.
- Plans and leads new project work, creates roadmaps for application upgrades and enhancements.
- Proficient in project estimation and developing timelines.
- Must be available for callout 24 X 7.
Job Specific Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).
- Experience with Automation Anywhere or similar software.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience automating or designing IT application workflows or integrations.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Windows/Linux Operating System, SQL based databases.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with installation and configuration of software systems/platforms.
- Must demonstrate strong analytical skills and sound judgement.
- Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, leadership, and employees at all levels.
- Must demonstrate understanding of the systems development lifecycle including testing.
- Must demonstrate solid understanding of business processes.
