Responsibilities
We are currently seeking to add a Staff Consultant with a strong industry application-based background in mechanical engineering and medical device design engineering. The individual must possess strong problem-solving skills, client interaction and aptitude for working in a consulting environment.
- Play a player / coach role with SES staff.
- Assist in managing relationships and expectations with clients in order to maintain a successful consulting practice.
- Interface with customers, prepare technical proposals and reports, and work either individually or on a team.
- Work as a consultant to help grow and further the initiatives of the Medical Device Practice.
- Provide technical knowledge and expertise in the medical device market.
- Provide direct mentoring and oversight of staff.
- Directly assist clients and staff in the development of process scopes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifcation:
- Masters or Ph.D. degree from an accredited university required (advanced degree requirement can be waived if applicant has 20 years of experience with a medical device manufacturer).Superior communications skills (both written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to work both on an individual basis and on project teams.
- Must have a working knowledge of medical device manufacturing, design methods and associated equipment, standards, etc.
