: The Business Intelligence Administrator will join a team that is maintaining data services at Stride. As a thought leader, you will be part of the Data Product team that is responsible for the architectural design and implementation of the data platform. The BI Administrator partners with various Stride stakeholders to articulate analytics solutions while adhering to the DataOps best practices. This role has high visibility with senior leadership within the organization with opportunity for growth personally and professionally. The BI Administrator is part of a leading, technology-driven organization with the mission of transforming education and learning experiences for every student we serve.

• Work collaboratively with analysts and others to design and build data products to be shared across various departments within the company;
• Perform collection, transformation, and modeling of data sets within the data infrastructure;
• Develop understanding of data sources available and their use cases in reporting;
• Architect and build data infrastructures and leverage tools that allow data products to be built for data customer and business user consumption;
• Create, update and consult on physical, logical architecture diagrams;
• Provide technical leadership on all phases of data product implementations, including architecture design and review, deployment topology planning, tuning and providing best practices;
• Interface with various technical and business stakeholders to understand Business Intelligence needs and architect applicable solutions;
• Document architecture patterns, deployment architectures, and BI coding best practices for development teams to apply;
• Contribute to the data catalog with necessary documentation;
• Work with business stakeholders, development partners, and other Architects to develop data products.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Five (5) years’ experience in data product and reports development
• Three (3) years as a technical architect designing data-driven solutions in PowerBI or equivalent tool

Certificates and Licenses: AWS Solutions Architect Certification a plus.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Detail oriented, capable of enforcing platform architecture standards
• Demonstrated experience in data modeling
• Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with other professional staff
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience writing queries in SQL
• Experience publishing reports in Power BI or an equivalent tool
• Strong understanding of DataOps principles
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time
• Ability to clear required background check

DESIRED Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in information systems, computer science, engineering or other relevant discipline
• Familiarity with Alation, Snowflake, DataVault 2 methodology
• Ability to mentor data engineers on CloudFormation automation script standards to enable automated infrastructure setup, etc.

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

• We anticipate the salary range to be $60,384 to $129,810.50. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
