Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Medical Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional administrative support to our medical practice while maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Manage patient records, schedules, and medical files
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Perform various administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and preparing documents for review
- Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient care
- Utilize office systems to manage patient information and maintain confidentiality
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and questions
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette and communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other staff members
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of patient appointments and procedures
- Participate in maintaining a clean and organized office environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a medical office
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and office systems
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients
- Familiarity with phone systems and documentation review processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
