Struction Solutions is seeking a highly skilled QA / QCTechnical Reviewer - Electrical to ensure the quality, compliance, andefficiency of electrical designs for educational facilities. The idealcandidate will possess deep expertise in electrical engineering planning,design, and construction while maintaining adherence to industry standards andbuilding codes.
Duties :
- Conduct technical reviews of proposed electricalplans and specifications submitted by District personnel, consultant staff,architects, and engineers.
- Provide detailed review comments regardingcompliance with District standards, technical accuracy, coordination with otherdisciplines, and quality control.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance ofthe District's Design Guidelines, including the School Design Guide,Educational Specifications, and Technical Standards.
- Assist in updating District policies to ensureadherence to building codes, safety regulations, and best practices foreducational facilities.
- Collaborate with internal and externalstakeholders, ensuring effective coordination across project teams.
- Offer technical expertise regarding productsubstitutions, deviations from standards, and constructability reviews.
- Prepare and review electrical standards, projectspecifications, and contract documents.
- Perform quality assurance, peer reviews, andcommissioning documentation to improve project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with California Building Code(CBC), Cal Green Energy Code, OSHA, ASHRAE, ASTM, and other industryregulations.
