Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, maintenance technician ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production equipment/machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Job Requirement
High school or equivalent required. Must be able to communicate effectively in English (speak, read, write). Mechanical background necessary.
Essential Duties & Requirements
Maintain PM Program and perform preventive maintenance according to schedule. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Fabricates repairs parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt and stocking. Assist the Engineering Department with machine upgrades; support operators as needed; on call as needed. Upkeep general building maintenance. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Starting Rate: 21.94/hour- but flexible depending on experience. Electrical/coding/plc is a bonus in experience
