Studio 424 is a hybrid coworking and hospitality space located in the heart of Wicker Park, Chicago. We provide creative professionals, digital nomads, and travelers with a unique environment to work, stay, and play. Our vibrant community and raw, artistic vibe make us a hub for innovation, collaboration, and exploration.
We are looking for a dynamic Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the face of our brand, providing exceptional service to both hostel guests and coworking members while ensuring smooth operations across both spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services – Hostel (Second Floor):
- Welcome and check in/out guests, ensuring a seamless and friendly experience.
- Provide guests with information on amenities, house rules, and local attractions.
- Manage bookings, reservations, and payments via property management software (e.g., Cloudbeds).
- Address guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and escalate concerns as needed.
Member Support – Coworking Space (First Floor):
- Greet and assist coworking members and visitors, fostering a welcoming community environment.
- Handle coworking space needs, including desk bookings, supply restocking, and basic tech troubleshooting.
- Assist members with podcast studio, photo studio, and meeting room reservations.
- Monitor and maintain coworking areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
Tours and Onboarding:
- Conduct tours for prospective hostel guests and coworking members, highlighting amenities and unique features.
- Onboard new members, explaining membership benefits, policies, and resources available.
General Support:
- Act as a liaison between hostel and coworking teams, coordinating tasks and communications.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including inventory management and recordkeeping.
- Monitor shared spaces for cleanliness, functionality, and safety; coordinate with cleaning staff as needed.
- Support special events, workshops, and community activities in both spaces.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 years in customer service, hospitality, or coworking spaces preferred.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and a proactive problem-solver.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with booking systems (e.g., Cloudbeds) and coworking platforms; comfortable using standard office software.
- Personality: Friendly, approachable, and able to create a positive, welcoming environment for a diverse community.
- Flexibility: Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Bonus: Knowledge of Chicago’s local attractions and neighborhoods.
