We have an opening for a Social Worker to help manage the emotional well-being of our elderly clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping track of senior activities and hobbies, discussing feelings with our clients, facilitating communication between family members, and helping to minimize conflicts that may arise.
Responsibilities:
- Interview and counsel clients to assess and address their social, psychological, interpersonal, and crisis needs.
- Assist clients with a variety of problems, such as housing, family conflict, and medical problems.
- Help clients access medical care, housing assistance, and support groups.
- Research the status of programs in the community that may meet the needs of clients.
- Prepare written reports on client cases and outcomes.
- Perform other clerical duties, such as filing and photocopying.
