POSITION SUMMARY

Performs payroll procedures and reports to Controller.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Supervise Time and Attendance Assistant. · Process and prepare bi-weekly payroll, including journal entries and Accruals. · Review new hires, maintain change of status, process separations and Terminations. · Process various earnings, deductions and taxes; disability, garnishments, 401k deductions, state, Federal and local taxes. · Maintain benefits, including health, dental/vision, disability, vacation, sick and 401K. · Work closely with our health insurance broker, with annual open health insurance enrollment process for all Team Members. · Administer the organization’s retirement plan (401K) working with ADP.

· Work closely and coordinate with Team Member Experience Department Consultant, on

Organization's leave of absence program, EDD unemployment, EDD Disability, etc.

• Provide information or direction on inquiries for garnishments/payroll processes from management,
• Team Members and third parties.
• Process benefit packages for all newly eligible Team Members.
• Communicate and respond to Team Members in regards to earnings, deductions, and taxes.
• Reconciliation of bi-weekly payroll for all hours (regular, sick, vacation, holiday, overtime, etc).
• Process stipends and garnishments.
• Assist Controller/CFO with month-end closing.
• Assist with other projects as needed

Qualifications

Salary : $21 - $31
