Job Summary
We are a leading manufacturer of custom wood cabinet doors and millwork! We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Production Associate to assist in the production process. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Production: Support the production team in the fabrication of high-quality wood cabinet doors, following specific designs and specifications.
- Material Handling: Safely handle and organize raw materials, including various types of wood, panels, and hardware, ensuring that all materials are prepared for use.
- Machine Operation: Operate basic woodworking machinery, such as saws, sanders, and drills, under the guidance of experienced operators. Maintain safety protocols at all times.
- Quality Inspection: Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications. Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies.
- Assembly Support: Assist in assembling cabinet doors, including attaching hinges, handles, and any requested custom features.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly and safety procedures are adhered to.
- Learning and Development: Participate in training programs to gain skills in cabinetry production and woodworking techniques. Be open to feedback and willing to learn.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Skills: Basic woodworking knowledge and passion for craftsmanship is a plus. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is helpful but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods. Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision. Ability to follow instructions closely and work as part of a team.
- Adaptability: Must be willing to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed within the production process.
