SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Facility Cleaner is responsible for the general cleaning of the warehouse, and maintaining a clean and healthy facility by completing various tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
·Performs general cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
·Collects and disposes of trash.
· Collects and stores empty pallets
· Sweeps warehouse – uses electric scrubber/sweeper where available
· Remove dust from guard rails, ledges, etc.
·Cleans up spills with appropriate equipment.
·Completes tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
·Keeps cleaning supplies in stock.
·Notifies management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
·Cooperates with the rest of the staff.
·Follows all health and safety regulations.
· Maintains outside packing areas and receiving docks
· Remove dust from guard rails, ledges, etc.
· Clean and sanitize restroom facilities
· Practices GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
·High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
·General Professional Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English (bilingual a plus)
·Safety Oriented - required to wear steel-toed shoes, safety vests, and glasses
·Tugger Operator (Preferred)
·Communicates clearly and effectively.
·Manages time efficiently.
·Demonstrates awareness of proper warehouse and factory safety procedures.
·Takes pride in doing good work, and has a positive attitude.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to: stand; walk; sit; use hands finger dexterity, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift, push, or move items up to 50 pounds. Use visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a keyboard. Frequently work near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally work in high, precarious places. Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals. Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and loud noises. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires work in both an office setting and a warehouse setting. Work occasionally requires “after-hours” communication or extended work hours, including weekend or evening work. Working conditions in the warehouse setting may or may not be environmentally controlled resulting in hot or cold temperatures.
