Role Summary: You will be responsible for a personal TV and Film target.

Your role involves proactively identifying, evaluating, and securing new revenue opportunities while also continuing to increase revenue from established TV and Film clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Striving to exceed personal sales targets.
  • Proactively initiate new revenue discussions, evaluate opportunities, and communicate the business case to your Sales Manager to get their buy-in and support.
  • Proactively manage a pipeline for your portfolio.
  • Network and build relationships with customer contacts ranging from picture researchers to procurement, senior management, and the C-suite.
  • Work with your sales manager to ensure all agreements align with Alamy's vision, strategy, and business goals.
  • Prepare, arrange, and conduct tailored high-quality on-brand presentations to Key Account customers.
  • Client all information necessary to understand customers' needs, identify opportunities, and secure incremental revenue from established customers.
  • Ensure you achieve all KPIs such as call, email, and client meeting targets.
  • Report on your portfolio's performance, identifying and formulating plans for any areas of concern.
  • Guarantee that all proposals created and shared with customers are on brand and to a high standard.
  • Provide data-led projections to support forecasting for your portfolio.
  • Will excel at meeting and leading commercial conversations, able to adapt to engage clients at all levels, including C-Suite.

External contacts: This position has a high level of contact with external customers.

Key internal contacts: Sales, Marketing, Content. Product & Technology, Finance, and Alamy SLT.

  • Proven track record in defining and executing a sales portfolio strategy to achieve revenue targets.
  • Commercially minded, able to articulate and present solutions demonstrating a clear ROI.
  • Experience in proactively sourcing opportunities and tailoring approaches to achieve revenue targets.
  • Able to network and engage at a level that displays professionalism and business acumen while establishing rapport and gaining trust.
  • Proven track record in securing new revenue.
  • Skilled presenter, able to adapt the approach to suit a wide-ranging customer base.
  • Strong commercial and contract negotiation experience.
  • Can negotiate and influence at a senior level and build credible external networks.
  • Works well under pressure, making sound judgments and decisions and meeting conflicting deadlines.
  • Resilient and tenacious, able to work quickly and adapt to change.
  • Self-aware with the ability to actively listen and ask relevant questions.
  • Is accountable - always.
  • High attention to detail and level of accuracy.
  • Keeps up to date with industry and client trends and uses this information to logically analyze the market, informing the business case for any decisions and opportunities.
  • Experience with customer management systems, including SalesForce.
  • Knowledge of the fundamental legal considerations, including Copyright, when working with photography would be beneficial.
