100% TEACHING POSITION-HIGH SCHOOL- LIBRARY MEDIA SPECIALIST
For 2025-2026 School Year
Sunapee Middle/High School is seeking a full-time middle and high school Library Media Specialist education teacher. Sunapee is a small middle high school serving grades 6-12 in west central New Hampshire. Sunapee is a highly academic school whose students consistently rank among the top schools in the state. We have strong co-curricular programs supporting academics and a supportive school community. We are in search of an energetic and innovative person whose responsibilities will include:
●Providing direct instruction in the library curriculum to include lessons on research and technology skills and Internet usage.
●Working with teachers to manage the library’s book collection including curating, ordering, book displays, etc.
●Managing periodical and online subscriptions.
●Collaborating with classroom teachers to help them utilize library and technology resources for student work.
●Managing the circulation database.
●Maintaining and managing the circulation of electronic devices.
●Teaching two elective courses.
●Overseeing the library support personnel.
●Completing additional projects as assigned by the school principal.
The starting date for this position is August 18, 2025
Salary per 2026-2028 Teachers’ Contract
