We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Director to oversee and nurture our largest customer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of a large, complex account, ensuring client satisfaction, maximizing account growth, and driving the long-term partnership. The Commercial Director will serve as the primary point of contact with the customer, collaborate and coordinate our internal teams to ensure exceptional support and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Customer Equipment and ensure the highest level of customer service and support across all aspects of the partnership.
- Build and maintain the strong partnership that has already been established through consistent communication and proactive efforts of continuous improvement.
- Oversee all aspects of the Crown business including ensuring on-time delivery of products and services and effective resolution of issues.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the account, including overseeing contract compliance.
- Together with the customer further develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop strategies to continuously improve performance relating to open tasks as detailed on the weekly coordination calls.
- Work closely with internal teams such as sales, operations, customer service, aftersales service, engineering and product development to ensure the successful delivery of services and solutions.
- Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of any issues or requests.
- Address and resolve any client concerns or escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Proactively identify potential challenges and opportunities within the account and work to mitigate risks and seize new opportunities.
- Drive profitability through elimination of wasted activities and proactively prepare and initiate price increases. Identify additional revenue making opportunities.
- Work with finance to ensure account profitability.
- Regularly report on account performance, revenue trends, and other key metrics to senior management.
- Analyze account data and feedback to recommend improvements and strategic adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 10 years of experience in account management, sales, or client services, with at least 5 years managing large, strategic accounts.
- Proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and driving revenue growth.
- Previous experience in the Industrial Market desired
- Understanding of the forklift/material handling or industrial battery market is beneficial

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
