Job Summary:
The Reach Warehouse Operator worker will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks in both shipping and receiving within Sunlight Group’s Energy Storage Systems (ESS) facility in the Americas. This role will support the seamless flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring that both inbound and outbound materials are handled efficiently. The Warehouse Operator worker will operate material handling equipment, ensure accurate inventory, and coordinate with different departments to meet shipping and receiving deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform both receiving and shipping functions, including unloading, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials and preparing and dispatching outgoing shipments.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials in the ERP system, maintaining up-to-date inventory records.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials in and out of the warehouse.
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and efficient processing of shipments.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping labels, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Inspect incoming materials for quality and ensure proper storage and labeling in the warehouse.
- Assist in conducting regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in both the shipping and receiving areas.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures to minimize accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years of experience in a warehouse, material handling, or logistics role, preferably in both shipping and receiving.
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified. Preference is given to candidates with Reach truck experience.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software (preferably SAP).
- Basic knowledge of shipping documentation and processes.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with inventory software.
