As we continue to grow, we're looking for a friendly PT host! Our hosts are the heart of our operation, and you'll join a team serving up fresh and seasonal food to our customers. Like our award winning pumpkin pancakes made with a secret, scratch-made batter, cooked to a golden, fluffy perfection, and topped with cinnamon butter and a tres leches drizzle!
Job Summary:
- Warmly greet guests as they arrive and thank them as they depart.
- Manage the flow of guests, providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to their tables.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and handle customer inquiries with a positive attitude.
- Maintain a clean and organized host area and entryway.
- Assist in setting up the dining area and public spaces, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere.
- Coordinate with the wait staff and kitchen to ensure smooth operation.
- Monitor dining room activity and guest satisfaction.
- Help address and resolve any guest concerns or issues in a prompt, professional manner.
Job Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills, especially for customer interaction
- Flexibility to work any shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to move or lift up to 15 pounds
- Prior restaurant service experience
- High level of stamina to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Have a great attitude and desire to learn and excel at your job (training will be provided!)
- Team-oriented
