Duties
- Manage daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the station.
- Supervise and train staff, including conducting interviews and performance evaluations.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate POS transactions.
- Implement sales management strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Maintain high levels of customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette.
- Develop and manage schedules for staff shifts to optimize productivity.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of the station to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with upper management on strategic planning and operational improvements.
Experience
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a retail or service environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems is essential.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and customers alike.
