Experience advising and developing relationships with auto service customers preferred, but not required. We will train the right candidate. Previous experience with luxury vehicle clientele, Reynolds & Reynolds, and Ignite helpful.
Automotive Service Consultant Duties
As a Service Advisor for Sunset Cadillac of Sarasota, you will be responsible for clear communication of vehicle issues and needs between our valued service clients and the service team. Specific duties include the following:
- Use active listening to engage and understand the customer's vehicle issues and concerns.
- Create repair order and communicate vehicle needs clearly in writing to the service technician.
- Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customer. Advise and sell needed work.
- Follow up on vehicles throughout the repair process, keeping customer updated.
- Interact with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times.
Automotive Service Advisor Requirements
- Must have great customer service skills.
- Strong automotive knowledge and experience.
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds and Ignite helpful.
