What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeper position at Super 8 by Wyndham Nampa?
The Super 8 in Nampa is looking for excellent housekeepers to join our family!
This is a full-to-part time position. Applicants must have open availability to work non-service school days, holidays, and weekends if they fall on your shift.
Housekeepers perform routine duties which include cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and other public areas according to Wyndham Hotels protocol.
Physical stamina and mobility is necessary; applicants must be able to move/lift/push/pull required load (usually about 20 pounds), and be able to walk up and down stairs.
Typical cleaning duties include sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, dusting and cleaning furniture, replenishing room supplies, making beds with fresh linens, and equipping rooms with clean towels. Room completion entails Housekeeping Supervisor's inspection of room; Carts and housekeeping closets must be organized, cleaned, and restocked as required. Housekeepers report any maintenance issues and keep the Housekeeping Supervisor aware of any issues or changes with the rooms.
Shifts start at 9am (10 am in winter) with a variable end time depending on hotel occupancy and service requests. All training is provided; experience is a plus but not required; all training is provided.
