Paid Internship: Financial Loan Operations

Are you detail-driven, organized, and curious about the inner workings of loans? Do you enjoy digging into processes and finding out how all the pieces fit together? We’re looking for a Loan Operations Intern who’s ready to gain hands-on experience with consumer and mortgage loans while tackling real-world projects that make a difference. In this role, you’ll assist with key operational projects like file maintenance and insurance claim reviews, building skills that will set you up for success in the financial world.

What you will do:

• Develop a deeper understanding of consumer and mortgage loans through hands-on, real-world projects
• Work on file maintenance, gaining experience with loan documents and tax reviews across multiple states
• Dive into insurance claim reviews, learning the ins and outs of mortgage and consumer loan insurance processes
• Collaborate with vendors to understand the operational side of loan servicing
• Support clerical projects that enhance your organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Participate in monthly development sessions with other SCCU interns on topics like leadership, career planning, professional communication, and more
  
  

Internship Details:

• All majors welcome, but best suited for those headed into the business or finance field
• Spring or Summer Internship
• A minimum commitment of 12 weeks, with priority given to students interested in extending their time with SCCU
• Flexible schedule to work around school & extra curriculars
• 10-30 hours per week
• Paid at $15/hour
• Work from our Tower branch location in Superior, WI
