Job description

Banker (aka Member Experience Specialist II)

Do you enjoy helping people achieve their goals? Does helping someone get into a new car, buy a fun toy (see: side-by-side), or save up for that engagement ring get you giddy? If so, our MES II position has your name written all over it. In this role you will be assisting community members in opening accounts or submitting loan applications to achieve their financial goals.

Bonus points if you can check off any of the following, too:

  • You enjoy saying “step into my office and we can get that taken care of”
  • Could talk about interest rates, credit scores, or savings accounts for days
  • Deliver Ritz-Carlton-level service
  • Boats and bikes and Bentleys, oh my! These are topics that you don’t shy away from

About You:

  • Got a little bit of left AND right brain in ya - you love numbers AND people equally, and excel at both.
  • Have a winning smile a calming demeanor, ready and willing to help members navigate the tricky financial world.
  • You are a goal SQUASHER. Numbers are your jam; you live for that ish.
  • You’re constantly looking for better, faster, and more efficient ways of doing things. “This is the way we’ve always done it” is a phrase that is banned from your vocabulary.
  • You’d be excited to work at a growing and hungry organization, ready and willing to take on challenges and make an impact.

What you will do:

  • Relationships, relationships, relationships. Build, nurture, and support relationships with our members, delivering superior customer service and guiding them to reach their financial goals.
  • Uncover needs and deliver solutions through handling transactions, opening new accounts, and assisting in loan requests.
  • Foster and promote a branch environment consistent with our core values: Dare to Care; Be Accountable; Drive Forward Momentum; Hit Heavy, Stay Humble.
  • Other duties and special projects as required. You are a yes-person, willing to help wherever needed.

Your experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one of the following: customer service experience, sales experience, financial industry experience, or a Bachelor’s degree
  • Solid understanding of computers and systems (we will teach you the specifics in training)
