Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children, particularly those on the autism spectrum. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients in a variety of settings. The BCBA will work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the highest quality of care and support for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions based on applied behavior analysis principles.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and share insights regarding client progress.
• Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health and applied behavior analysis.

Requirements

• Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation.
• Experience working with children, particularly those diagnosed with autism or other developmental disorders.
• Knowledge of patient care practices and behavioral health principles.
• Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes related to behavioral assessments.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also demonstrating independence in decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
