Position Overview:

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions. This includes directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements, supporting and maintaining existing applications, and developing new technical solutions. The CIO reports directly to the CEO and works closely with other senior executives to align the IT strategy with the company’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the IT strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals.
• Oversee the development and execution of the IT roadmap.
• Provide strategic guidance and leadership on technology investments.
• Establish IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and governance.
• Ensure the IT infrastructure is reliable, secure, and efficient.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the company’s IT infrastructure.
• Ensure the continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology solutions.
• Evaluate and implement cost-effective solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Implement project management methodologies to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop and implement a robust cybersecurity strategy to protect company data and systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies that provide competitive advantage and improve business operations.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
