Position
Videographer - US Air Force Security Forces Center
- Location: Air Force Security Forces Center - Joint Base San Antonio
- Security Clearance: Active Clearance or Eligible to Obtain - U.S. citizenship required
- Salary: $55,000 - $90,000 Depending on Experience and Education
- Travel: 20%

Position Summary
SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Videographer to support the US Air Force Security Forces Center in San Antonio, TX. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities of Videographer
- Plan shoots: Collaborate with clients and the creative team to plan video shoots (storyboarding, media checklist, scriptwriting, and proper equipment needed)
- Set up equipment: Prepare cameras, microphones, lighting, props, and other equipment
- Film: Record video on set or on location
- Edit footage: Use post-production to edit footage
- Direct camera operators: Ensure that the needed footage is acquired
- Add graphics: Add computer graphics, closed captioning, and special effects to the footage
- Prepare background film: Also called "B" rolls"
- Understanding of computer software used for planning, editing, and scripting
- Finalizing and delivering videos in the proper format and size per customer requirements
- Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with clients and members of the production team
- Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail
Minimum Qualifications of Videographer
Some College Coursework in relevant field, Associate Degree is a plus. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.
- Understand the fundamentals of video composition, including framing, perspective, and movement.
- Understanding how to capture clean sound, and how to blend it seamlessly with visuals
- Color Grading to enhance visual storytelling
- Time Management - Balancing creativity with productivity, meeting deadlines, and managing client expectations
