We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Avionics Power Supply Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing power supply systems for avionics applications, ensuring they meet stringent performance, reliability, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Create and optimize power supply designs for avionics systems, including AC-DC, DC-DC converters, and power distribution units.
- Testing and Validation: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate power supply performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power supply systems into larger avionics platforms, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed design documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts, and technical reports.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to power supply design and performance.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulatory and safety standards, including DO-160, MIL-STD-704, and RTCA/DO-254.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in power supply technology and apply innovative solutions to enhance product performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in power supply design, preferably in the aerospace or avionics industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in power electronics, circuit design, simulation tools (e.g., SPICE), and PCB layout software (e.g., Altium Designer).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of power supply topologies, EMI/EMC considerations, and thermal management techniques.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Salary : $120,000 - $170,000
