Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications. Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to manufacture precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications.
- Utilize SolidWorks for designing and modifying parts as needed.
- Program CAM software for efficient machining processes.
- Conduct quality control checks using coordinate measuring machines and bore gauges.
- Perform electrical discharge machining when required.
- Assemble components as per assembly instructions and specifications.
- Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections and necessary maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAM programming is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with machining techniques and tools, including bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
