About SV Academy

This is a unique opportunity to participate in our comprehensive BDR Residency. The Residency consists of a free two-week training period followed by a full-time W2, 12-week Residency with one of our Employer Partners. Residents will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience to prepare them for a successful career in sales.
About the BDR Role
Business Development Representatives are the backbone of the sales process. As a BDR, you'll research companies and decision-makers, connect with prospects, and book sales meetings. This role combines problem-solving, strategic outreach, and relationship-building to drive business success.
What You’ll Do:
- Represent a tech company's products and solutions, clearly communicating their value to potential customers.
- Identify and engage new business opportunities through outreach via phone (cold calling), email, and LinkedIn.
- Book meetings between prospective customers and Account Executives.
- Work towards monthly goals, including setting up qualified meetings and generating pipeline opportunities.
- Learn prospecting strategies, CRM tools, and industry best practices while earning an industry-recognized Sales Certification.
