What are the responsibilities and job description for the News Editor position at Sweet Tea Media?
The Sweet Tea Media newspaper group is seeking a News Editor for the Seward County Newspaper Group including the Seward County Independent and The Milford Times newspapers. This position is responsible for coordinating local content for print, reporting, on-line, and visual elements. Ideal candidates will have a journalism degree with experience in the newspaper industry, are familiar with Mac computers, is a capable photographer and page design (Adobe products is a must) and have experience with managing people. In addition to the weekly responsibilities of putting out high-quality newspapers, the editor will work with staff members to continually improve existing products, services, procedures, etc.
