Position Summary:
We are looking for a personable and professional bartender to join our team at Sweetwater Country Club. This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for hospitality. As a bartender, you'll be responsible for providing outstanding service to members and guests, preparing drinks to order, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Drinks: Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes and club guidelines.
- Engage with Guests: Create a welcoming atmosphere, interact positively with members and guests, and anticipate their needs.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the bar and surrounding areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout each shift.
- Handle Transactions: Process orders accurately and handle payments in compliance with club policies.
- Assist with Inventory: Monitor and restock bar supplies as needed, and assist with inventory checks.
- Enforce Club Policies: Check IDs, adhere to responsible serving guidelines, and ensure all club policies are followed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a high-end or private club setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, beer, wine, and spirits
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple orders efficiently
- TABC certification (or equivalent) required
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds

Pay: $8.00 - $25.00 per hour
