What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Systems Support Technician position at Sweetwater Sound?
Sweetwater, the nation’s #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments, is seeking to hire a Client Systems Support Technician to add to our growing Client Operations team. You will be responsible for accomplishing a variety of IT related tasks throughout the diverse Sweetwater enterprise. This work includes maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, IP phones and a variety of iOS/mobile devices. This is fast paced position that requires a candidate with amazing customer service skills and the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide hardware and software support for MacOS and iOS devices
- Maintain and troubleshoot a variety of technology such as printers, cameras, Raspberry Pi’s, Chrome-boxes, etc.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic networking and telephony issues
Qualifications
- Great customer-facing communications skills; in person, on the phone and via email.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
- Strong personal computer troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Passionate about electronics and consumer products
- Basic understanding of IP networking and network troubleshooting skills
- Microsoft Windows Competency and experience with Active Directory (preferred)

- You are handy, are not afraid of building and changing things
