PURPOSE: 

Monitor, analyze and report raw material consumption to management team on a daily basis, actively participate in weekly aluminum meetings with management team, and make recommendations with respect to revaluation, scrap processing, etc. to enhance fiscal performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare weekly forecasts tying estimated EBITDA to operational performance and KPI's.
• Monitor and test processes in accordance with global and regional policy; represent plant as internal control champion.
• Spend time each week in the production area and attend production meetings in order to stay current on developments within the facility.
• Assist with month end closing and reporting process by analyzing assigned accounts, completing necessary adjustments and reconciliations and reporting as appropriate.
• Assist with the monthly outlook and annual budget process.
• Assist with bill of material and routing reviews and updates.
• Work with management staff to complete capex tracking/forecasting and monitor closing of projects to ensure completed timely.
• Other projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prefer Bachelor's Degree, in finance and/or accounting
• Minimum of 4 years of finance and/or accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strongly Preferred Automotive experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
• Must be able to be on feet for 8 hours or more
• Must be able to sit long hours at a desk
• Must be able to work weekends and extended shifts as needed

  • Core Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Weekly Overtime: As needed.
  • Weekend Work: As needed.
  • Assignment Start: ASAP
