Syndeo Staffing has temp-to-hire opportunity for a Junior Quality Engineer for our client, a leading provider of innovative solutions in the aerospace industry.
Position Overview: As a Junior Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through the development and implementation of various quality processes. You will work closely with the Senior Quality Engineer and other cross-functional teams to uphold our client’s commitment to excellence.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: BOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Production Part Approval Processes (PPAPs) for new products and existing ones.
- Utilize PFMEA, Control Plans, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to ensure continuous compliance with Processing Plans and maintain acceptable product quality.
- Analyze failures and provide corrective and preventive actions to enhance product quality and reliability.
- Project and develop training programs in coordination with area managers and quality personnel.
- Provide assistance in developing effective corrective actions using QMS software and quality assurance tools such as 5-Why analysis and other problem-solving techniques.
- Assist the Senior Quality Engineer in the implementation and control of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Offer reliable solutions to a variety of problems using problem-solving techniques.
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of experience in Aerospace Quality.
- Familiarity with Management Quality Systems and tools.
- Proven capability to manage Microsoft software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace Quality, or equivalent.
