Work for our Central New Jersey (Union County) client that is a manufacturer to the food industrySummary - Compounder / Forklift OperatorOperate a forklift in a safe manner, and read batch ticket / instructions to extract batches in vesselsJob Duties : -Ability to operate forklifts-Pour raw materials into vessels using scales-Load raw materials to mix-Track batches for Quality in ERP systems-Read and Interpret batch sheets-Track batches and print labels-Packout materials in pails / drums / totes-Close work orders-Read batches in percs / drums / totes / portable tanks & stills-Adjust and track batches based on dispositions from Quality-Work in accordance with guidelines from FDA, GMP, HAACP, SQF.
OSHA, USDA and internal requirements-Maintains a neat workplace-Excellent attendance and positivityRequirements : -High school diploma;
and one to three years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Database, Internet, inventory, order processing systems, and word processing software.
Data entry using MS Excel and Sage. -Must be able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.-Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision.
