QUALITY ASSOCIATE OPERATIONS
SynergyLabs, Inc. is an industry leading manufacturer of animal care products produced in our state-of-the-art facility in Hildebran, North Carolina. We distribute our bestselling brands across pet specialty, mass, food and drug, farm and feed, and digital channels with a global footprint that includes 62 countries and counting. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine quality checks on the production lines throughout manufacturing
- Notify Quality Management of any quality check failures and coordinate execution of actions required in response to failures
- Ensure all retention samples are pulled and maintain retain sample storage and testing
- Maintain sample storage and testing for product retains
- Ensure all quality samples are pulled for testing and submitted to the laboratory
- Perform incoming inspections of raw materials, components and labels to confirm compliance with applicable specifications
- Coordinate response to supplier quality issues by gathering relevant information and issuing exception records
- Perform internal assessments to verify compliance with relevant procedures
- Assist in investigations of internal failures and product failures to identify root cause and effective corrective/preventive actions
- Train as a back-up to assist other Quality Associates in their responsibilities as needed (Laboratory)
- Interface with regulatory agencies during audits
- Responsible for the implementation and commitment to Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
- Other duties as assigned as it relates to the Quality Unit
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in science (chemistry, biology, microbiology, or chemical engineering) preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience in Quality, preferably in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food science industry
- Must be well organized and capable of managing time-related tasks
- Working knowledge of FDA Regulations, Good Laboratory Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills required
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
