Job Title: SAP Reports Developer with EAM Experience
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Contract)
We are seeking an experienced SAP Reports Developer with a strong background in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) to join our team in Los Angeles on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP reporting, specifically related to EAM functionalities, and a solid understanding of SAP modules related to asset management, maintenance, and logistics.
Design, develop, and maintain customized reports for the SAP system, focusing on EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) processes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide reporting solutions within the SAP EAM environment, ensuring alignment with business goals and needs.
Utilize ABAP programming to build, enhance, and optimize SAP reports, queries, and dashboards for asset management, maintenance planning, and equipment data.
Analyze large sets of asset management data to identify trends, insights, and areas for process improvement.
Optimize SAP reports for performance, ensuring fast and efficient data retrieval, especially with large asset data sets.
Work closely with SAP functional consultants, business analysts, and other IT teams to support the overall SAP EAM system and report requirements.
Provide ongoing support for SAP EAM reports, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects.
Document report specifications, technical processes, and system changes; assist in training end-users as needed.
RequirementsQualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an SAP Reports Developer, with a focus on SAP EAM or related modules (PM, MM).
Strong understanding of SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) modules, including Maintenance Management (PM), Materials Management (MM), and related business processes.
Proficient in ABAP for report development and enhancements.
Strong knowledge of GIS systems and their integration with SAP EAM for tracking and visualizing asset locations.
Experience with SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and SAP BusinessObjects is a plus.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP HANA is desirable.
Expertise in SAP Query, SAP ALV (ABAP List Viewer) reports, and custom reporting tools.
Knowledge of SQL and data extraction techniques.
Strong ability to analyze data and provide meaningful insights related to asset management.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, debug code, and provide timely resolutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
This is a hybrid role that requires the candidate to be based in Los Angeles, CA, and to be in the office 3 days a week for collaboration and meetings.
SAP certifications related to EAM or reporting and GIS systems.
Experience with SAP Cloud solutions or S/4HANA.
Knowledge of IoT and its integration with EAM for predictive maintenance is a plus.
