What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at SynQor?
SynQor is seeking a first-shift Material Handler to join our Shipping/Receiving/Warehousing team. A successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The Material Handler works primarily on material transfer throughout our fast-paced electronics manufacturing facility.
General Responsibilities:
- Pick and transport material to assist the entire manufacturing process
- Process material transactions across multiple points of the factory
- Maintain physical inventory
- Ensure proper labeling and documentation of materials
- General Shipping and receiving as required
- Perform Oracle/STS transactions
Material Transfer (80%)
- Move material across the facility to keep manufacturing lines moving
- Responsible for pickup across production environment
- Provide overall support across manufacturing to transport parts and products
- Receive materials from Manufacturing
- Issue materials into Finished Goods warehouse
- Ensure all materials are placed and stored in the correct location
- Assist in cycle counts in finished goods
- Receive materials from Purchase Orders
- Deliver materials to requisitioning department(s)
- Assist in labeling and scanning product for shipment
- Processes changes in part numbers through scanning and relabeling materials throughout manufacturing as needed
- High School Education/GED
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Required Skills:
- Ability to lift 15-20 pounds, sometimes up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills
