This position is responsible for the day-to-day activities in regard to Customer Furnished Material (CFM) and production related material. Also responsible for processing all the shop orders and associated kits received from the Planners.

PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES:
- Processes shop orders received from the Planners
- Resolves issues prior to releasing the pick list
- Prints pick lists and labels
- Prioritizes kits to be pulled
- Issues parts to kits after being pulled
- Fills backorders for short kits
- Issues periodic reports concerning status of current production and material deficiencies
- Processes consignment material orders
- Processes customer furnished material receipts into the ERP system
- Closes out program part production orders in ERP system
- Ensures that inventory accuracy levels for the raw material are met or exceeded and supports all the external audits (ie. CPA firm, Corporate Auditors, etc).
- Maintains and/or recommends improvements in processes, procedures, tooling, calibration, equipment and materials, to ensure the Warehouse area executes efficiently and the material gets to the production line while meeting or exceeding the expectations
- Observes safety rules and is a role model for others
- Observes and enforces strict adherence to security procedures regarding CCI and classified materials, when applicable
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school or equivalent education; some college preferred
- 3 years of related experience
- Working knowledge of inventory and ERP system, including Bill of Material (BOM) documents
- Thorough knowledge of warehousing processes
- Strong computer and analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Maintain up-to-date training/certification on: Move Safe, ESD, FOD, and Handling where applicable
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Inter and intra departmental contact required
- Ability to obtain a Government granted security clearance, if needed
