Commercial Front Load Operations Manager

As a Commercial Front Load Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be overseeing all aspects of the Commercial Frontload Department including the Commercial Operations administrative staff to drive business growth and profitability. This position is responsible for the hiring, training and supervision of the Commercial Frontload Operations department including the drivers and general labor.

Essential Functions:

• Supervise, coach and oversee Commercial Frontload Operations staff
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve company objectives and maximize revenue
• Manage relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any concerns promptly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Finance, Maintenance and Leadership to align commercial initiatives with overall business goals

• Prepare and present reports on commercial performance, market trends and forecasts to senior management
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company
• Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact the business
• Conduct employee reviews, discipline and ensure the proper documentation is completed timely

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities including the ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously
• Strong analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient computer skills that include the ability to send/receive e-mail messages, post information to a database or spreadsheet and perform basic processing and/or data entry
• Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-term goals
• Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, stressful environment

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1-3 years of leadership experience in a commercial management role within the waste or similar industry
• Proven track record with a growing company
• Solid understanding of dispatch and routing in waste or similar industry
• Strong working knowledge of P&L’s and Budgets
• Familiarity with financial principles and budgeting processes is preferred
• A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is highly desirable
