Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive labor relations strategies
- Lead negotiations with labor unions, ensuring the alignment with organizational objectives
- Manage and resolve labor disputes and grievances in a timely manner
- Advise management and HR on labor relations issues and strategies
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
- Foster positive relationships with labor representatives and employees
- Analyze labor market trends and adapt strategies accordingly
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in labor relations or a similar role within a complex, unionized environment
- Proven track record of successful negotiation and conflict resolution with labor unions
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a relevant field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
