Workday Financials Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide comprehensive support for Workday financials including troubleshooting, configuration, and user assistance. This individual will play a key role in improving financial operations through process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert support for a financial management system, including troubleshooting, configuration, and assisting users.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve efficiency in financial operations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and assist with testing and implementing system enhancements while adhering to change management protocols.
• Become a subject matter expert in one or more functional areas of the financial management system.
• Support project management efforts to ensure timely delivery and successful implementation of system updates.
• Provide support during system upgrades, ensuring smooth integration with existing configurations.
• Help administer security protocols to protect financial data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in building, troubleshooting, and enhancing financial reports.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of process and system documentation.
• Provide support for other financial systems as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as required by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in gathering requirements, system design, configuration, testing, or supporting Workday Financials.
• Experience with Workday Financials or equivalent SaaS platforms
• Prior experience working with accounting teams or a basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
• Experience leading complex projects is highly desirable.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
