CACI is seeking a cleared Software Developer to assist the Information Trust team in testing, defining improvements, enhancements, and new functionalities. This role will support the DCI Branch at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Analyzing software for vulnerabilities

• Executing software assurance tools

• Investigating findings to determine level of vulnerabilities

• Code new functions for SwAT, identify and fix bugs, and assist the team

More About The Role:

• Ability to leverage tools such as tcpdump and wireshark to analyze network protocols and troubleshoot networking issues

• Experience building systems that ingest and process cybersecurity related logs

• Understands software package management. Understands how to install software and packages in an air-gapped environment. Understands how to manually configure and write build test processes for software.

• Knowledge of public key cryptography and applied experience working with certificates. Experienced in configuring systems with proper certificates. Ability to use OpenSSL is beneficial.

• Ability to understand and modify fixed formatted messages. Experience writing software that processes and modifies fix format messages such as XML.

• VMWare knowledge. Ability to configure ESXI/vCenter server infrastructure. Experienced in engineering systems that run in an ESXI environment

• Has leveraged automation and configuration management tools such as Jenkins and Ansible to maintain systems or deploy software

• Ability to develop SQL schemas

• Has personally written software that interacts with NoSQL and/or SQL databases. Experience building software around cybersecurity specific

• Has personally written a REST API

• Familiar with containerization concepts and container orchestration and configuration management tools

• Has developed distributed systems that involve several components and have complex integration and interoperability requirements.

• Basic linear algebra knowledge (matrix vectors)

• Regression analysis

• Multivariate statistics

• Understands how to integrate data science/analysis applications in a live environment. Experience integrating quantitative models into systems

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Must have an active DoD TS Security Clearance

• BA/BS or equivalent experience

• 5 years relevant work experience

• Experience in developing application

• Heavy Programming skills like C/C , .NET, Python etc

• Experience implementing AI/ML

• Experience with JavaEE

• Experience with: Java 11 , SQL, Git, JPA, CDI, EJB, JAX-RS, JSF

• Knowledge of or Experience with one or more of the following:

  • Netbeans IDE

  • GitLab experience

  • Containers (Docker especially)

  • HTML / CSS

  • Jakarta EE platform as a whole

• Experience working with build systems (Make, Ant, Jenkins etc
