Tabby and Jack's is now hiring 2 full-time professional pet groomers to work in our growing Verona and Cross Plains salons. We are a busy, high-end pet retail and grooming salon business with 9 Dane County locations and a mobile grooming van. We always strive for a calming environment for dogs and groomers alike. Our exceptional customer service and extensive menu of very high quality add-ons provide Tabby and Jack's groomers with higher income and gratuity potential.
Our salons have semi-private finishing suites for the comfort of the groomers and our guests. We also work every client straight through, limiting the number of pets in our salon to promote a calmer and quieter environment. We are locally owned and managed, and have an open door policy, giving great consideration and implication of everyone's thoughts, ideas and concerns.
The applicant must be completely trained as a professional groomer and able to clip all breeds to breed standards. The ideal candidate must be organized with excellent customer service skills. The ability to groom cats is a plus.
Two-weeks paid vacation is provided based on your average commissions. Other benefits include: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Short-term and Long-term Disability insurance. Also, all employees receive a 20% discount on pet supplies and Groomers are provided 25% off on any groomer tools from our Pro-Shop. We also provide a bonus program for all full time groomers willing to work 1 weekend shift and 1 evening shift during the week.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality grooming services for pets, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Handle and restrain animals gently and effectively during grooming sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming tools and work areas.
- Offer excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming options.
- Stay updated on pet care best practices and grooming techniques to enhance service quality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
