Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Administration: Provide strategic direction, manage midwifery operations, and ensure high standards of patient care.
- Protocol & Compliance: Develop and oversee midwifery protocols to align with clinical guidelines and state regulations.
- Staff Management: Recruit, onboard, supervise, and support midwives, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Quality Assurance: Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in departmental QA activities.
- Education & Training: Implement continuing education and training programs for midwives, residents, and students.
- Business Development: Identify and execute growth opportunities for midwifery services.
- Budget Oversight: Manage departmental resources to support operational goals.
- Patient Care & Advocacy: Champion patient-centered care and manage clinical activities, including labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Master's degree in Midwifery or related field
- Current NYS licensure as Certified Midwife (CM), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), or Licensed Midwife (LM)
- RN licensure and American College of Nurse Midwives certification
- DEA certification for prescriptive privileges
- Minimum 7 years of midwifery experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role
- Proven clinical competence and knowledge of regulatory compliance
Salary : $180,000 - $220,000
