Shipping / Reeiving

This position is accountable for managing the on-site customer interface and shipping/receiving materials while solving our customer's inquiries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Verify material by inspecting condition of items and checking paperwork

· Safely move and stack material with cranes and forklifts

· Perform general housekeeping functions in the warehouse

· Perform daily inspections of crane and forklift to ensure their operational safety and readiness for use

· Perform periodic inventory counts as instructed by customer

· Perform order entry when required by customer to replenish inventory

· Unload trucks using overhead crane and fork truck as required by customer

· Act as the liaison between the customer .

EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE ·

High School diploma or equivalent

· 2 years general warehouse experience

· Must have overhead crane experience

· Must demonstrated good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customer and employees

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Product knowledge

· Ability to read and understand work orders and written instructions

· Utilize measuring devices such as rulers, measuring tapes, and micrometers/calipers

· Utilize computer system (with training) to check stock and print tags
