Job Opening: Entry-Level Military Tank Crew Member / Instructor
Description

If so, we're offering outgoing, sales minded and fun loving individuals the opportunity to be trained as "Tank Commanders / Instructors" at our military tank driving experience in Orlando, FL.
The primary duty is to act as an ambassador to guests by welcoming them, communicating the experience and providing park directions. This position requires that applicants must be comfortable interacting with people and able to provide an exemplary guest service.
With the understanding that our equipment is highly specialized, we offer new hires one-on-one training to operate our vehicles. Applicants must have the ability to be flexible with daily tasks, work well in a team environment, engage and welcome guests consistently, and anticipate the needs of our guests. Positions will also assist the sales and marketing department in executing both internal and external driving experience and events.
Key Responsibilities
● Inspect and test-drive vehicles to ensure that all features function properly
● Basic understanding of the sales cycle, our products, and how to maximize the guest experience
● Assist with arrivals and check-in of guests
● Facilitate transportation of groups for the experience when applicable
● Distribute materials and provide itinerary information to guests
● Responsible for crowd control/guest flow. May need to barricade, rope, and/or place stanchions for queues and barriers
● Crew members are expected to assist with daily setup and breakdown
● All team members must adhere to safety guidelines when escorting or directing guests around property
● Understand and actively participate in environmental, health & safety responsibilities by following established Tank America policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities
Other Responsibilities
● Upkeep of tank trail and surrounding areas
● Operate heavy equipment
● Clean and fuel vehicles
● Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications

● Must have a valid driver's license
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Ability to operate Apple and Google tablets
● Sales and/or customer service experience
● Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
● Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Physical Requirements
● You are friendly and able to work as part of a customer-focused team
● Possess an eagerness to learn
● Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
● Ability to work outdoors in all Florida Seasons (heat and rain)
● Ability to walk, stand, lift, crouch, kneel and climb uneven terrain
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
