*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated Porter/Maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities while also assisting with basic maintenance tasks. *Responsibilities* - Perform general cleaning duties to ensure a clean and organized environment - Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed - Assist in supervising and coordinating maintenance projects - Handle painting tasks for residential units as required - Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment - Read and interpret schematics for maintenance purposes - Support electrical repairs under supervision - Welding tasks as necessary *Requirements* - Prior experience in residential painting is preferred - Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with residents and team members - Mechanical knowledge for basic repairs and troubleshooting - Ability to supervise maintenance activities efficiently - Familiarity with reading schematics is a plus - Proficiency in welding tasks when needed - Basic electrical repair skills under supervision - Proficient in English language for effective communication - Leadership qualities to guide maintenance operations effectively - Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is advantageous
