WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Operate batching and mixing systems, operate powder filling machines, liquid filling machines and drive forklift. Fill out production worksheets. Provide inventory control assistance as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate batching and mixing powder systems
- Operate liquid batching and mixing systems
- Operate automated auger bag packers and insure proper weights
- Operate automated form fill and seal machine and insure proper weights
- Operate automated liquid filling equipment filling quart to 55-gallon drums
- Obtain production work efficiencies to meet expected production line standards
- Record finished good production on worksheets
- Assist in reviews of inventory levels and in completing inventory forms for ordering raw materials or adjusting inventory.
- Drive forklift to transport manufactured items from production areas to appropriate place in warehouse.
- Effectively communicate with operators upon batch ready for production. If an operator is not assigned, communicate batch is ready to supervisor.
- Sweep and clean up areas as needed and instructed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Plant Production Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
- Must have High School Diploma or GED.
- One to two years’ manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in batching and mixing liquids or powders with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Forklift training as required by OSHA.
